History
Katy is the eldest daughter of Alaister and Sophia Page, both of whom come from a long line a wealthy purebloods. She was raised in all the proper wizarding traditions, taught to be proud of her bloodline and history, something she has tried to also influence in her younger sister (pb - kay panabaker, please email lenabee [at] livejournal.com if interested in playing her). Katy was and is quite spoiled, as many children from similar backgrounds might be. Her parents couldn't be more proud of her sense of ambition and the way she has embraced the family ideals.

Katy's first six years at Hogwarts have been great! She's got a fair enough group of friends among the "suitable" students there and has even come to accept that there are some less desirables roaming the halls, though she would definitely do just about anything to get rid of that sort. She gets decent enough grades, even managing to do pretty well in her OWLs, because she knows that keeping up with her studies is important to her future successes.

Katy has done her share of dating, too - enough to not be considered a prude, but not so much to be considered a tramp, though her standards are impossibly high and she's quite possibly unknowingly snogged a few boys who were not up to those standards, not knowing that at the time. Of course, if she ever were to learn that she'd touched anyone who wasn't PURE, she'd be revolted.

Hobbies and talents:
1. Ambition - Katy has a strong ambitious streak. She knows just what she wants out of life and she doesn't mind doing whatever she has to in order to achieve her goal. She hasn't decided exactly what she wants to do with her life, but she's determined she'd going to do something BIG, something that will make her beloved and famous.

2. Confidence - Katy knows who she is and she likes it. She's completely secure in herself. She knows she's pretty, she knows she's smart and if someone doesn't like her, it's because something is lacking in them, not her. Because she, obviously, is perfect.

Weaknesses:
1. No Tact - Katy has no tact at all. If she doesn't like you, she has no qualms at all about telling you. She doesn't filter things and she doesn't hold back. Be careful what you ask her, because she's the sort of girl who would respond to "how do I look?" with something akin to "like a giant slutbag"
2. No Patience - Katy is not patient. AT ALL. When she sees something she wants, she goes after it immediately. She's not the sort to wait around and if it means people have to get hurt so she can get her way faster, so be it.
3. Elitism - Katy is a Snob. There are very few people that she deems worthy to be in her presence and she blatantly turns her nose up at all others. At the top of the requirements list is blood. Anyone who isn't absolutely pure just isn't good enough for her. This is followed shortly by class, because no matter what your bloodline, if you don't meet her standards for class, etc., she won't give you the time of day. Except maybe to hex you or some such.
4. Unrealistic expectations - Katy is very spoiled and as such, she expects everything in life to go HER way. She doesn't deal well with surprised or things going in a different way from how she expected. She likes having things planned out (she's almost obsessive about it, even) and she gets very upset when anything doesn't go the way she thinks it should.

Personality:
Katy was born under Aries, which is the first sign of the Zodiac and governs the head. Positive characteristics of Aries include courage, enthusiasm, idealism, charisma, quick wits, an ability to "think on one's feet," leadership potential, exuberant energy, zeal, and innocence. Negative traits include selfishness, tactlessness, egocentrism, an inability to save money, impetuousness, a hot temper, combativeness, oversensitivity, carelessness, and cruelty.

A Slytherin Aries is a bundle of contradictions. In some ways, they have the potential to be the strongest of their House - the intensity, drive, and brilliant visionary dreams of the Aries combined with the innate leadership skills, the charisma, and the profound sense of self (including the eccentric lack of interest in conforming to what other people think) is stuff of which great magical legends are made.
